Set to take place in one of the iconic cities in the the world, Soweto will be transformed into Hawaii to bring you “Soweto Meets Hawaii #SOWAII”.
The island will be present in South Africa for a 3 day festival to enjoy its heritage with ours. Hawaii is as proud of its multicultural heritage as it is for South Africans and the collaboration is more than fitting for the Heritage Weekend.
What’s remarkable about contemporary Hawaii is that multiculturalism is the rule, not the exception and that’s how we South Africans are; being multi-cultured is a part of us, our lifestyle and we can’t compromise on that.
